This jacket features a turn-down collar, conventional cuffs, and is made of cotton with a non-woven craft. Designed with waxed canvas, it develops a unique character over time, showing color fading and featuring a leather patch inside. Available in M, L, XL, and XXL, sizing follows the manufacturer’s standard fit, which may run smaller than US/UK/EU sizes—it’s recommended to choose 1-2 sizes larger or provide your height and weight for guidance.
For maintenance, avoid washing with water. Light stains can be wiped with a damp cloth and left to dry. The fabric may feel stiff initially but softens with body heat. To maintain the waxed finish, lay the jacket flat on a clean cloth, apply a thin layer of wax, and use a hairdryer on low heat from 10 cm away to help absorption. Let it cool for 30 minutes, then place it in a ventilated area for 24 hours. Avoid high heat for extended periods.

Looks great, it's stiff but should loosen up with wear. Definitely a shirt or very light jacket but it's super hot in south texas so this is perfect. I'm 5'9" 158lbs and fit. The large is tight i'd probably get the xl if i did it again but i'm keeping this as its cool as hell.

I received this Maden canvas oil wax jacket a couple of weeks ago. I have worn it several times and would recommend it. But I would caution against wearing it as a single piece of outerwear. It is not thick enough. Under a thicker jacket yes. Wearing it with a down jacket underneath it yes. But as solo winter no. For the spring or summer. Definitely. I also wore it in the rain and snow. It does repel rain and snow. I should also point out that I am a Maden fanboy. I have over 5 pairs of selvage/selvedge jeans. And now this wax canvas jacket. You cannot go work with Maden clothing.
The jacket is class. I take the second one, since I lost a little with the first one. Took XXXL on my height 177, and 87 kg weight. Everything is perfect.
